La Cubana in Dresden

Best lockdown food ever!!!! Really hits the spot, the empanadas are fantastic! The ropa vieja was definitely cooked with love, and the arroz congri so so good! Claudia the owner is a wonderful lady, so nice and sweet. Super recommend her restaurant and food!!!

An absolute must for everyone who is in Dresden and who likes Caribbean food! The food is not only incredibly delicious and authentically Cuban, but also very generous, so that you will certainly not go out hungry from La Cubana again! Tip: The Chicherrones and Chicharitas / Tostones are a wonderful snack or starter!

Best and very authentic Cuban in Dresden. Claudia, the owner, is very loving and the boss both in the service and in the kitchen. The portions are quite generous and inexpensive. I can recommend it to everyone.

After 10 minutes the waitress still hadn't managed to bring us a menu. The change to "El Cubanito" has paid off.

Great food. A little longer waiting times but you go out to eat and are not on the run. Extremely friendly staff even if there are sometimes small communication difficulties, everything still works. Very recommendable. Prices moderate and above all extremely tasty!

Food was poor, despite the normal menu. We had to wait an hour for our food even though the next table ordered later and got food at the same time. We wanted to pay with an EC card. It took half a lap and we had to ask 3 times. In the end, the EC payment was also forgotten. Very bad service.

The food was very tasty, nice staff and a nice atmosphere ... but unfortunately we had to wait 45 minutes for our starter and another 15 minutes for the main course. So a total of 1 hour + / - waited for the food ... When we wanted to pay, we said we wanted to pay 3 times, after 30 minutes you could finally pay.

Food was very good, the black beans with rice reminded us of our Cuba vacation.

The food was very tasty, we haven't been to Cuba yet, but thanks to the very nice service and the ambience we were able to experience some Cuban flair. The drinks are also highly recommended! We would love to come again!

The food is just excellent, like at home. With the empanadas, the filling is seasoned perfectly in the Caribbean way and the dough is freshly prepared. The meat stew was just as tasty and the meat was very tender. The Piña Coladas were one of the best I've ever had in Germany. Claudia, the owner, is nice and funny. She treated us very well. I can only recommend the restaurant!

A very nice restaurant and bar with Cuban cuisine. We were very surprised how delicious it was. Not expensive in price. Cocktails were also very fruity and delicious. Nice decor you had a slight Cuban flair. Food was very tasty, would love to come back.

Went there to have an early dinner.. The food was good.. But still had the feeling it kinda lacked the exotic taste to it... Staff was real nice.. Would recommend..

Food was tasty. I had shrimps with tomato sauce, rice and salad. Portion could have been larger. Extensive collection of fresh cocktails. Service was polite and friendly. Very nice Cuban atmosphere with cuban music and music videos. Music volume is good for conversation in the restaurant and on the club side the music is more on a club volume.

Nice people, good food and drinks

when you speak Spanish you may get an alternative impression: rather rude male proprietor. Shame as the previous visits I had a nice time. Maybe he was having a bad day? Maybe he wasn't the proprietor?: anyway a rather bad tempered tattooed man sitting outside did not have such a polite manner! Aside from this, it is a nice enough place to go.

La Cubana is one of my favourite restaurants in Dresden! Very delicious, authentic, home-made food! Great cocktails and overall good price for value. The space is nice and great for organizing dinners with friends. I have celebrated there many occasions. You can also find good spots to have a romantic dinner, and in the summer the Biergarten at the back is lovely! I am a regular customer and recommend La Cubana! And of course make sure you meet the beautiful and friendly Claudia, cook and owner, that makes the food with a lot of love!
